rope problems
When I bought new lines for the mast,
I made sure that they were small enough to go through the police at the top of the mast.
I find that these lines are too thin to be clamped by the cleats the jam cleats the clamp cleats at the bottom of the mass top of the Pilot House so I think probably I should replace these clamps so they fit my new ropes rather than buy different ropes cuz bigger ropes that are clampable will not go through the pulleys at the top of the mast.
Another problem is that the lines for the traveler at the rear of the mast are too thick to go through the pulley for it so if I was the sale the boom probably will not perform properly.
Yet another problem is the Bimini which I love because it blocks the Sun and keeps me in the shade also interferes with the traveler so when I am sailing downwind it's hard to get the boom all the way out because of the Bimini support lines I'm thinking of moving the rear support lines forward to just below the top of the Bimini.
