In the morning while i was having coffee, i was accosted by the surly port Mansfield navigation district clerk.
She told me i wasn't supposed to sleep on my boat and since I was in a slip with out a reservation, the fee would be double.
Jim came over to say hello and ask for the location of the bathroom and to tell me that he put Ram up at the Holiday inn Express in Raymondville. So after I finish my morning absolutions, drove out to Raymondville to pick up Ron we we we we we had gotten breakfast from the free breakfast at the Holiday inn so I had an omelet in a sausage but Jim didn't want anything.
When we got back to the boat we started taking her down and I tried to be more descriptive in my my instructions on what to do. So we were able to get the boat down in about 4 hours rather than 8.
We proceeded to drive to Corpus Christi and I told Ram to reserve a bus late in the day, sunce I didn't figure we could get to Corpus before late in the day.
Using Priceline, I reserved a cheap hotel room down by West Marine Jim and I went to the hotel room, took a shower  and then went to bed.
On Wednesday morning Jim and I got up we went to the circle my K for coffee, then we drove to the West Marine waited from them to open. Then I bought an anchor, rhode, chain and shackle for just $436.
We drove over to port Aransas where after I found the temporary office. I reserved a slip.
 Once I saw the slip I was assigned and at the encouragement of Jim, i cancelled my reservation.
We disconnected the boat, then drove to Corpus to see the aquarium, but when we got there, we opted to see the art museum instead.

Bagatelle bow eye replacement

I tried to go sailing at Lake Somerville spent most of the morning trying to raise the mast. Once we had the mast up we went to launch the boat and found that the motor wouldn't run so we pulled the boat back out and I noticed in the morning that the bow eye was loose. On the way home there was some traffic on 290 coming in. I had to stop suddenly and since the boat wasn't really connected to the winch it slid forward past the winch and so now I have some gel coat to fix. So I decided to pull out the bow eye that I had bought earlier and put it in the holes that were vacanted by the old bow eye. Looking through the hole I could see that there was no obstructions.The bow eye that I purchased was just a little bit different.
