driving to Pat Bodine Drummond Colley's house

Friday morning I had a choice to make I could continue as I plan to go to Niagara falls before going to Pat drum and coley's house but since it was Friday and I wanted to spend the weekend with Pat I decided instead to go south to Pat's house Pennsylvania.
I started the day by driving north to lake Erie and sodus point which had a lighthouse first.
i first stopped a this sunset park in Sodus Point.

Then I drove over to the light house
I drove over to the beach to Wade in the lake I found it was surprisingly warm.
After waiting in the lake I drove back south towards Bradford Pennsylvania where Pat lives. On the way I found Bodine's fruit stand on Austin road. I bought a basket of tiny tomatoes which I ate on the way and they were very good I left Mr boating a note with my on my card and he called me later and we said hello and it was nice having your tomatoes pretty short conversation though.


When I got to Lima New York, I was tired so I took a nap in the parking lot of the local high school.
I arrived at at Pat's place about 3:00 so we sat and talked about family for a while her daughter came by we talked some more Mr coley made us dinner which was minestrone soup which is very good I walked around and looked at her garden then as the night progressed we watched the movies while Pat did genealogy. I turned in about 9:00 I was tired.

I tried to go sailing at Lake Somerville spent most of the morning trying to raise the mast. Once we had the mast up we went to launch the boat and found that the motor wouldn't run so we pulled the boat back out and I noticed in the morning that the bow eye was loose. On the way home there was some traffic on 290 coming in. I had to stop suddenly and since the boat wasn't really connected to the winch it slid forward past the winch and so now I have some gel coat to fix. My Saga of Designing and building a Nimble Artic Gin Pole for Mast raising

Bagatelle Gin Pole Design Saga Bagatelle is a Nimble Artic. Her mast weighs about 150 lbs. I can lift maybe 50 lbs above my head. So I find it difficult to raise her mast on my own. I decided to design a gin pole to help lift the mast.
