Touring Erie Canal

After I left Albany, I drove up to the entrance of the Erie Canal I stopped the car in the parking lot for the first Lock and I walked around the lock take a picture of the gates in the water and the entryway to the canal from the river and the contest the locks are impounded by the gates. Then I took a picture there was a little Park to the south of the lock and I walked to the edge of the park and looked at the river which is right there beside the lock and then I walked across the lock to the other side took some more pictures.  I saw the visitor center for the Erie Canal national heritage monument from the top of the lock so I got back in my car and I drove into town a little ways to look at a church pretty close to  the lock. Then I drove over to the visitor center.  I went in to the center to ask for a key to the restroom as for some reason they keep the doors to the restroom locked. My plan was to go My plan The plan was to go to the moma art museum first thing. After the art museum, I thought I might go to the Empire state building period and then possibly walk through Central Park period I checked the price of the New Jersey bus to downtown. You can New York City and found that it was just $20. So I went to the store, got some cash so in the morning I would be prepared. In the morning I had eggs bacon no toast since there was no toaster. I walked out to the bus stop and waited for the bus I caught the bus I paid my fee sat down watch the world go by as we drove into New York City it took about an hour and a half to fight through the traffic going through the tunnel over the bridge into town ended up on 7th street at the New York bus terminal. The weather was cloudy there may have been light rain I didn't want to take the subway since I still had an hour and a half until the museum opened so I decided to walk from 7th Street to 47th Street I walked up 6th ave...
